‘Salaam Mumbai’ to be rescreened in Persian

Iranian-Indian blockbuster ‘Salaam Mumbai’ is set to be screened in Iranian cinemas with Persian dubbing.

Indo-Iranian hit ‘Salaam Mumbai’ is slated to be featured in Iranian movie theaters again with Iranian voice actors do the Persian dubbing of the movie, media says.

Ghorban Mohammadpour’s movie has been on the big screen in Iran for a while, achieving enormous sales in the country.

Veteran Iranian voice actor Changiz Jalilvand will be in charge of dubbing the movie which is slated to be screened in Iranian cinemas in late January.

Indian actress Dia Mirza who stars in the movie has been a popular figure in India Cinema.

‘Salaam Mumbai’ narrates the love story of a well-off Indian girl meeting an Iranian medicine student in Mumbai. As the story unfolds they both run into some complications along the way.   

Early on, Mohammadpour said at a news conference that he is set to make a sequel to ‘Salaam Mumbai’.

Some other casts of the movie include Iranian movie star Mohammad Reza Golzar, Dalip Tahil, Simran Mishrikoti and Shaili Mahmoudi.
